Well they are callin for rain all week so hopefully it doesnt but either way I'll be in the shop so no biggy! I'll try to finish this week but I'll post vids of my 12's the 18's wont be seeing much if any music! My vids are on youtube toyotaracing16 check them out!

I believe 12,000 watts, at the most, in perfect conditions and at .25 ohms. And lightning real close to where your testing. But it does seem we'll have a new team champ.

chris u sure are building a beast.. I saw all the monsters jumping into the unlimited class, so I had to evacuate, in a hurry. Next year. Reason is I could only buy one amp a year, so that means hopefully I'll have another amp for that class next year. I tried it this year, but I didnt have near the amount of power that the guys in the top 4 had. Not to mention I still have stock battery and alternator up front. I ran 6 16 volts in the back, no help from upfront. I threw myself in with the wolves, in my first year (really) competing. Plus I blew an amp a week before finals, that would have put me in a real close battle for second. ~159.9 dbs. Well, we always have next year. This year Im trying prostock 601 to 1800, we shall see if I can at least hit 160 and walk away with a top 3 at finals.

Damn Just about all of us will be in the 60's this year!!!! Our team will be kickin A.S.S. This year!

theres only 3 of us that have a real chance. you, me, aldo. rob needs new amps. the SS6500 wont do it. He'll need like 4 of them. If he gets a couple of DD M3s, he'll be louder. The SS6500 had its time, but like the great earthquakes and rockford, soundstream is no more. Unless he goes up to 18 volts. Ziggy couldnt do 160 with the two 6500s, so I dont think rob can either. Sorry rob, but Like me I knew the Memphis amps werent gonna get me to the 160s, soundstream wont get you there either. There is too many amps that are better. RD D9, DD M3 & M4, maybe the sampson.... we'll see.

I know its not all about power, but it does help to have it.

Well, IDK We have never seen those in a crx but, I agree with you there will always be something new and better that comes out! Rob's amps would love 18 volts for sure bro! I dunno if the sampson will do it but we will find out saturday?????????

Sometimes more fun to do with build but also is fun to do it with power as well.... Just have fun guys us older guys are drifting out and its all of you that will be the vet... So most of all have fun

jimbo will no be at padre.... padre just isnt the same as it was... 8 hour drive just isnt worth it to me anymore... if i can talk the wife out of going ill will not be there either.... there will only be like 2 shows that ill attend this year shades and heatwave.... im done doing 10-20 shows a year... ill do 2-3 mabey next year ill do only one....

And thats why i said all you guys are what is now us older guys are harder to get out to as many shows nowadays, we have to take breaks so we dont burn out.. I mean Darrell hasbeen doing it awhile now he just looks young.. as well as sanman and others. Myself i started in early 90's and have to trim back so i dont burn out... I get more joy out of watchin all you guys having a blast and runnin around all crazylike we used too... Dont worry we dont dissapear just not as many shows is all.. Keeps us sain

Damn whats the point in competing anyways? Its all about fun if ur doing it once or twice a year thats no fun! I wanna hit every show within 400-500 miles of me this year! This is fun! If you big dawgs dont show then ya it def is not as much fun!
