| So drag came to the mid west this yr to unify the industry and try and rebuild are play ground....
Now
What if USACi does the same next yr, and goes a little east to appeal make it fair, and appeals again to unify and rebuild, but playing in there back yard this time.
Not saying this is happening just wondering how people would react if every other yr they rotated to keep it fair?

I'm with you on that one, LOL. Hey, how about here in Vegas during SEMA...alright enough with the boo's and fruit throwing. Actually I think it would be great to get IASCA involved with the joint finals

I like kc too, allways a good turnout.... Exactly the two biggest usaci markets is Kc area and Texas. And the turnout of spectators was terrible in tulsa. Kc draws more people to a double point import face off than tulsa did for finals. That my friends is the truth...

| The bad turnout was because it was the same weekend as the state fair. Ralph and I spent 50 k promoting the event. It is hard to compete against a fair crowd. We could not get the date we wanted. Robrice | |

Robrice I liked Tulsa myself and think you guys did a great job Mr Rice. This is a big job and takes alot of money to play in the sponsorship game my props to you as I understand Ive been in that arena for several years. Thank you! Your efforts are much appreciated.

Robrice Im not saying you guys didnt do a good job with the promos but just seems like the intrest level of the 12 volt world in okla is just low...they dont hold many events seems like. Im always gonna wish for Kc cuz I dont have to worry bout hotel lol!

| IMO, with the way the economy is, there will be lower turnout in spectators and competitors. I usually go to multiple shows a year, but the dfference for me last year and this year is that my hours were cut, the overtime was denied and had to be comped, and everyone was mandatories a 10% wage cut. I am thankful to still be working, but with those kind of cuts, the $$$ has to be made up somewhere. Doesn't matter to me where finals was at. I really liked KC, but I think that is not gonna happen. Omaha was good, and I had a great time in Tulsa. Doesnt matter to me where its at, just so we know far enough ahead of time to plan. I don't know about anyone else, but the Oct. date works great for me. Don't have to contend with holiday's and weather is still not a factor. | |
