Oh, and will this vehicle be at Turkey Drag? Not sure what it will do at 20Hz. Guess I could find out....lol Not sure about Turkey Drag, still working on it. I have to try and make it bullet proof first Fred likes to run full tilt all day long. The van is going to be his new daily driver. Then the Explorer gets dropped back off to do some work on it. apparently he wants to pull the DD 9515D2 and have them reconed to D 0.5, and add the other 2 Sundown SAZ-3000D's and see what happens. Not sure why because the D2's arent even broken in yet, but hey in this business the customer comes first. There again may just sell them and buy new D 0.5's.

| Wow...nice efficiency. We played w/ the van tonite trying to retune and only went down hill Now sure on actual power, but only 157.8 @ 40hz at 1ohm after some changes on the front port. Didn't even bother trying at 1/4ohm. Got some work ahead for this season i guess. I think we sprang a major leak somewhere. | |

| Yes, 10 DD2515 in a 4th order on a Z2hv and 8 hc16 (1 front, 7 rear in bank). I crunched some #'s and feel like a dumbass for even wasting my time tested what I did last night Total brain fart. Looks like the ported chamber was already tuned a little BELOW the sealed chamber Fo. So yea, this whole time I missed it. That is why we have been getting strange results when testing. Pretty sure I figured something out though. Testing again today after work. From what I am seeing on paper (which could mean next to nothing, lol) looks like the change we are planning to make should be ~0.5dB louder across the full freq range. Wish me luck! Need to start saving for another Z2hv and batts...lol | |

| Well after much cussing and throwing things. I am at an stopping point before I blow it up. So fixed the engine cover problem, now for some reason the van is peaking at 40 - 48hz @ 161.6 with a slight difference in score of .1-.2 inbetween the 2 notes. So any ideas? | |

| I know what you mean on cussing a vehicle, lol.
I guess you were having the same problems w/ the engine cover as us. Ours pops off about 1/2 second into a burp, have to clip is back down every burp.
Is that # when loaded to 1/4ohm? How much power you seeing?

| Very nice! other than the repair bill lol Get this thing to Turkey Drag, I gotta hear it.
We have a similar problem w/ the ram van. ~1/3 of the way around the glass the seal is gone and glass it toast. Will have a new glass by Turkey Drag though.
Got it up to 161.2 tonite, but we cant SB loaded to 0.2ohm. I'm tempted to go take out a loan for another Z2hv and batts, lol.

| Are you peaking on the drivers or the passenger side? We found another 10th today w/ the glove box open. Sure you have already tried that though. Not sure if that will stay consistent w/ the ram van. Ours is sitting at 161.4-161.5 now, voltage drop is hell though. Going from 17.85-88 to 13.70-75 on burps Do your seats fold all the way to the dash/wheel? Edit: Scratch that...found another 10th 161.6 | |

| Our 4th order as 2 peaks, 42hz and 73hz. At 0.8ohm dcr we are ~0.4db down at 42hz. The 73hz peak has a higher box rise, so we burp there loaded to 0.2ohm dcr for now. Ordering more batts this week. Plan on a second amp by Scrapin'. Demoing the van kills the cabin, already had to weld up the roof. Got Damplifier Pro on there and it holding now. Windshield is leaking its ass off. Still yet to fix the engine cover too.
I guess our Ram Van is just weird then. Loads better in drivers kick, likely because the dash is so dam deep...it kills us. Also the wall starts a full 16" behind the B-pillar, that alot of cabin volume that is killing us. All in all, the interior forward of the wall is HUGE compared to every other wall I have seen.
Try that glove box thing, you never know.
