| hi im new 2 this forum but would like 2 get as much input as possible from knowledgable street beaters in my class. well i've been competing for 2 years & i currently drive an 02 nissan sentra, my setup consists of 2 12" kicker l7's in a ported sub box, mmatts 2000.1 amp, memphis line driver, clarion crossover, i also have 1 batcap, and 2 yellow top optima batteries 1 in the front and 1 in the rear. the last 2 shows the i've competed in i scored in the upper 130's. just wanted 2 know how can i improve my score using the current setup? oh im in street beat 2. thanks | |

| Matt Sibley and I think Bruce-Bruce know a ton about the kicker stuff hit them up for info both are cool guys and they know alot about audio!!!!!!hope this help's!!!!!!! | |

| Are u ready for Summer Slam on July 1st? You should be testing,testing,testing. Try some other songs beside the usaci cd. | |

| What song are you playing, what does your car like to play, do you have a meter, What is your box tuned to, is it near the peak freq of the song you are playing, is there a local shop areound you with a meter, contact them for time and tune away, should help quite a bit. |

| what #'s should i be hittin wit my setup? and if an xtra optima battery would help increase my #'s or should i get a custom box as well? yes im ready 4 summerslam, c u thurs. & have the meter ready 4 me. thanks | |

| Custom box that is tuned close to your res freq will help. How are the subs and ports faceing in your car ? Is it a trunk ? If so then can the seats be folded down ? How much room do you have to work with for box size ? | |

| well the box & port are facing towards the car and the box i have right now is not custom its just a subzone box. but if i add another battery will my # increase in db's. in the future i do plan on building a custom box just wanted 2 c if i can hit in the low 140's without building 1. | |

| dont waste your money on another battery right now, spend it on getting wood and build a better box first |
