Finals

Heading out Friday morning with my wife and daughter. My daughters first Finals she has a 1999 GMC grey regular cab come by and say hi. Hope to see and listen to some different systems.

I wish you all the best of Luck! I am a bit sad that I will be missing finals for the first time in over 8 years, but the new shop is doing great and I just can't get away. I will see you guys in the spring.

Here is my schedule for the next few days.

Thursday

7:00 A.M.- WHO KNOWS= Run around town picking up parts to finish install. Then finish install. Finally pre-clean and detail the truck.


Friday

7:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M.= Drive to Tulsa. Locate MF so he can schedule me in for a final detail.

12:30 P.M.-WHO KNOWS= Tune on the truck until I can get into the hall. Then tune on the truck some more. Spit shine my buss bars. Tune some more. Drink a few beers. Don't tune any more after the beers. Locate Jimbo and/or his squirrel. Don't drink any more beers after locating Jimbo. Get my azz to bed.

Saturday

6:00 A.M.= Find coffee and Excedrin. (see above Friday schedule for explanation)

7:00 A.M.= Show up for competitors meeting. Drink my coffee while I wait on the rest of the competitors to show up for said meeting.

8:00 A.M.= Find MF and make him aware of the spot he missed while detailing my truck overnight. Find more coffee and have a smoke.

9:00 A.M.= Ask my wife to find me some more coffee.

9:15 A.M.-6:00 P.M.= Hang out at the truck and speak to the folks coming by. Answer questions and demo the sound to all interested (including any USACi judges that should happen to come by).

6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.= Clean up, find a place to have dinner with the wife and friends.

9:00 P.M. Put my "pimp juice" on and go to the after party. Drink a few beers. Locate Jimbo. Watch some Slick Chix until my wife gives me "THE LOOK"!

11:00 P.M.- 12:00 A.M. (estimated) Go back to room and crash.

Sunday

6:00 A.M.= Find coffee, Excedrin, and good marriage council. (See Saturdays schedule for explanation).

7:00 A.M.- 6:00 P.M. Back to hanging out at the truck. Doing sound demos and speaking to people about the truck.

6:00 P.M. Awards. I hope I get one.

7:00 P.M. Dinner with my wife. (provided she's not still pissed about Saturday night).

8:30 P.M. Hang out with a few friends and discuss next year.

11:00 P.M. Hit the bed.

Monday

6:30 A.M.-7:30 A.M. Find coffee, have a smoke or three, take a friend to the airport.

7:30 A.M.-10:00 A.M. Come back to hotel and pack up for the ride home. With or without having to disassemble a World Finals Trophy.
