You dont even have to have that part up front attached. But keep it in to be safe and yes cover them up..

this head liner i think has more wood in it then the 1/4 mdf.. its way more sturdy n solid . bad thing is the foam padding.

havn't tested yet ill do a burp befor i go home tonght to see if the frequency changed. i hope it goes down 53hz

frequency went down to 53hz . and after doin about 10 burps the best it would do is 1.1 dbs down .oh well looks like 2nd or 3rd again in sb5 for me. she should do a killer score for the power i have...but watch out next year when i get lots more power and switch to the astro OLD HEAD LINNER IN Lol

I push on the headliner and try to give each roof a tap to check for things such as this on every vehicle Jeff. I have started doing this on doors as well. Anyone that is questionable will be asked to remove a panel for the verification judges to see.

i was and still am totally legit . we have a factory headliner and two layers of dampening Smile
