Strapped or unstrapped???

is it beter to run 2 amps strapped to 2 subs or 1 amp per sub ?
Is it better to run 2 amps strapped to 3 subs or 1 amp per sub?

kinda hard to run 3 subs with 2 amps ..1 per sub.. so id have to say 2 amps and 2 subs would work better than the 3rd sub flopping .. lol

the answer to your question id say can simply be answered by the TL.. the only thing that can honestly asnwer 90% of the questions everyone asks here..

I am saying 2 amps strapped to 3 subs ( all subs Paralell) , Very possible, instead of three amps to three subs , more amps less power .

well.. 100w is 100w.. im not sure how much it matters.. its going to be more a impedance issue.. and what your amps are loudest at.. if your setup likes 3 subs ..or 2 ... etc ... i think id personally rather have 2 strapped amps for simplicity..

There are to many factors to say which way is better. Example say you have Dual 2ohm woofers 6 of them, you want to run 2 amps, 1 amp per 3 that gives you a 1.34ohm load (before rise) but another amp in the mix and that gives you 2 subs per amp at a 0.5ohm load (before rise) so majority of the time the 3 amps at 0.5 are going to be loudest, because you have more power (if you can support 3 amps wired at 0.5) then you would have at 1amp 1.34ohm. Make sense? We cant depict whats better its more of testing in your application.
