| Just completed my first evet in 10 years, took 1st in SB1  (need to find better song) 2nd in Stock 0-600 . Was curious what to do about getting louder. The vehicle is a 2004 Ford Expedtion(w/3rd row seating)...Crossfire VR1000d...FI Q12d2...2.5 cuft enclosure tuned to 32 hz 30 sq in of port. Any suggestions ? ie box setup ?(right now sub facing forward port up)...(thinking about another battery and need to get my 200 amp alt in). | |

| Only did a 115.8 in SB1(amp cut out)...136.7 in Stock 0-600. Changed box just before show, old box was 2.5 cuft 40 sq in port tuned to 39 hz, should i put this one back for the next comp ? Resonant frequency was 40 hz. | |

| well most guys are much higher for these classes. Like 60's and up. | |

| Fi dosent recommend tuning a box outside of there perameters. Could anything happen at a higher tuning of the enclosure ? | |

most people recommend tuning low but we had a lot of luck tuning higher. It just takes time building different boxes. Try several different kinds. | |

| i think that the 39hz box would be good for SB1 as long as you can find a good song | |
