Who is going to BIloxi for Scrapin The Coast?

I think i'm gonna go down for this...I was going to go to Tunica this weekend, might as well just wait and go ahead and get most of my points for finals

what time is the show supposed to start Saturday?

And what are entry fees?

Good questions...I actually do not know the entry fees. Greg, the USACi director sets all of that up. People just bring me dash sheets and I run the competition. Usually an entry fee in stereo gets you and a passenger into the show for two days and cost only slightly more than what two people would normally pay to enter the show.

I'm getting old, this is the first time I've been up this late in a long time! I just got done watching Gran Tourino lol!

I bought it earlier tonight, getting ready to watch it too lol

I'm planning on running all the classes I can...just don't want to spend a million dollars at the show, I won't have any money to give the casinos then lol

Oh yea, and I get out there about 6:30ish each morning and am usually setup and ready by 7. So we start whenever you guys roll out of bed, shake off the hangovers, and come through the lanes. The earlier the better though as we usually have 100+ cars at this show in SPL. We usually cut off judging at 3pm Sunday. The more people we run on Saturday the better because that gets things over with sooner on Sunday. This isn't one of those shows that doesn't give out awards until 8 or 9 at night. The last few years awards were handed out around 4:30-5ish. So I'll be on my way to california while you guys are going on stage grabbing awards!

So do we know a final location to where the SPL show is gonna be setup?

as soon as you pull into the gate look forward a little and to the right. cant miss it skip. bascially just about on the opposite side of the building from last year.

Eh, I'm sure I'll party a little but not too late. I need to look/feel presentable when I get off the plane in San Francisco Sunday night since my boss will be picking me up there...

Call Greg for actual pricing. I think it will be 45 though. As far as power goes, might want to bring a generator. I usually get one circuit for the meter/PA and thats all they give us access to. I don't want battery chargers tripping the circuit and holding up the show. Bring a generator or get there really early and go outlet hunting and hope one is turned on.

Thats how it was last year. This is a great show, shuts Biloxi down for 3 days

Come and go as you please, for the most part.
Driving from the hotel to the show was hell though. The normal 4 lane was a 2 lane, driving from the motel 6 to the show took ~40mins
The night "show" is the Dung Pile though. Bring your lawn chair!!!

competitor parking is gonna be around where the show was last year including the tent area according what greg had mapped out. should be plenty of area to park. also supposed to have the burnout area for parking but will have to move out of the way before they are ready to use it though, we will see when we get there on that though. just everyone work together to help it go smooth for matt. he is gonna have his hands full running the meter area.

yep on the run and leave thing and come back, usaci membership gets a few bucks off, but not sure if that 45 is with membership or not.

i thought greg had told me that we would have power there, but he may have meant for the meter goodies. probably best to take matts advice on the generator thing.

someone asked that earlier. no meter will be there for that. heard it cost alot to get it there, and you have to have it reserved in advanced from what i remembered.

I will have my Honda generator there Nick,don't worry,plenty juice man.

Guess depends on who comes

Bring a 54-55 in stock to be safe, last year it was a 54.1...dk whats gonna happen this year

And in mod 1001-2000, that should be up there

the mod one should be a 160+ for sure

I've never metered the Expedition outlaw so I'm really hoping it gains 3-4db or so lol that would put me in the 56-57ish range in stock
