no bs need help

ok the rules r a litte vague but i was going to c would i be consitted a pro? i have received free equipment a few years back like i have paid for my stuff since 2007 so for that last few years i have paid for my equipment all of it. i also use to work at a shop a few years back like nov 07 was that last year i worked at a shop. so am i still pro??? im being serious! i need 2 know this cause i thought about building my 1965 impala for street beat 1 but if im still a pro i can only run sb5 i will not build for this class i dont run 16volt or lots of alt or lots of amps or lots of subs. i dont have to cash for that so if im still a pro im just going to give up on sb period i dont have to money to run sound q and i really dont want to build a burp ride i want to make something pretty clean and sounds great. but i need to know if im wasting my time thanks

By looking at the rules. I would say you aren't in pro, unless you meet one of the other rules listed.
Go for SB1 is what I would do.


• Competitor works for a car audio dealer, manufacturer or distributor, or has worked for
any of the aforementioned at any time within 1 year of the competition date.
• Competitor receives financial compensation for using a specific manufacturer’s
equipment
• Competitor receives free equipment or equipment for less than 50% of MSRP from a
reseller and/or manufacturer
• Competitors immediate family member(s) meet(s) one or all of the previous conditions

i dont fill any of those either. i wouldnt even be very loud i dont think i am planing on rebuilding my 1965 impala and put a daily driver in the trunk i just want to make something cool to look at and sound very nice but i dont have the cash for sound q maybe in a few years. reason why i was asking is i was going to run 2 10s one amp and was prob going to do bassrace also thanks for the info ill prob even call ralph to double check also thanks again

Well, i might not be the best one to listen to, but i dont see a prob with it either, the whole pro not pro thing anymore is a bit stupid, Especially with this type of build, obviously not tring to bend any rules just wanting to have fun with a pimp ride. Go for it SB1
