I just got a new S-10

Hey i just bought a new S-10 last night, not

I'm pretty pissed right now, guy had S-10 listed on craigslist so I go look at it wed and tell him i would let him know the next day if I wanted it, well the next day i call him about 4 because he was getting off at 6 and say i want it pending a test drive because i hadnt driven it yet. So he says ok. Well i call him about 630 and he doesnt answer, so i leave a message saying yeah I still want it, call me back cause the bank closes at 7 and I'll need to pull the money out. so he doesnt call back or anything.

So then about 815 he text me and says he has another guy looking at it but if he doesnt want it he will still sell it to me, so i'm thinking, wtf, i already told him i wanted it.

So then he text me back and say well i guess i will let this other guy look at it but tell him he is already selling it to me unless i change my mind.

So im like ok cool, well i go look at it yesterday and test drive it and decide i want it. So i write a check to my wife because my bank is out of state, and i dont like asking people to take a check on deals like this, i like to pay cash and it was less then 2000 but the bank would not give her the money untill it actually cleared into her account, kinda stupid because they have done it 3 times before where i wrote checks in the 2-3k range for my crx, my other s-10, school etc and they have always done it right there, heck she's been with them for 10 years, but ok no biggie bank policy i guess, so i pull 300 out of the ATM and offer him that as a down payment deposit and tell him i cant pay him till this morning, he's like no big deal, you dont have to give me a deposit or pay me tomorrow, sun night or monday is fine because he has to work today, and i was going out of town, so we shake on it and decide where to meet on monday.

well now he text me and is like sorry man i sold the truck for $250 more than we agreed to to a guy from outta town today, so he had to do it for more money.

WTF, i guess not the kinda guy you want to buy from if he's gonna stiff ya like that, cause then who knows what else he is trying to pull, but WTF, i guess a handshake doesnt mean much these days

i guess it wasnt meant to be.

it was a sweet truck too, 87 ext cab, 70k yeah thats right 70k miles, good solid body and frame, no rust except on the driver door, belong to his grandparents, sat in garage for like 6 yrs then he got it3 yrs ago when they died, damn sweet truck for an 87, up north evrything else is rusted out, like mine

damn im pissed, i better have a few more pitchers and wash my sorrows away, then jump off a bridge.

sweet, i could use the cash, maybe i should do it, my crx is pretty nice

That sucks. Some people just wanting that extra buck and not live to what they say.
