i did this to show how opinions dont mean Dung Pile, but results do and ill show some of those tomarrow night.
and no the volts should not be higher than the amps learn a little bit because if you knew you would understand my impedance rise is under 1 ohm

| No one said your meter sucked other than you. But if you re-test your 600.1 I would like to see it done with a industry standard clamp. So change out the clamp and show every one that the PF 600.1 is a BEAST! | |

I will tell you whats going on..... We have tested several diff clamps and the only ones that would read correct are the 337 and the lower fluke think its 903 or 902 unless you want to pay 500+ dollars.....If you are using craftsman throw it in the trash..... I have tested 3 diff ones and they are around 1000-1500+ to high if your testing less than 4000 watts and these are the professional series trust me they are junk.......Terry and I both have the same craftsman clamps and we tested them head to head and they never show the same matter a fact mine was around 10 higher almost every time LOL junk......put a 337 on and it reads the same 5 times in a row lol...hope this helps Jeff ........... btw if anyone wants a craftsman clamp its the 100+ dollor professional true rms using the probes on the multimeter work fine but the clamp reads incorrect $50 takes it...model #73756

ok I will..3 craftsman clamps all read diff from each other and read up to 1500rms to much...I have used 4 diff fluke 337s and they have all been within 1 amp of each other.........I can put 4 clamps on my wire 2 craftsman and 2 fluke same time the two fluke will be the same and the two craftsman will be diff from each other and the fluke but owell you get what you pay for ........

| Just trying to clear this up. Jeff, you are asking, How do you know which clamp meter is right and which one is wrong? Just because it cost more means that it must be the right one? I understand. Does anyone know if there is a test standard for clamp meters? A certain certification standard? I understand that FLUKE is some of the best teste equipment out there but what test or standard shows that?

| we tested my truck and Terrys explorer with both styles of meters then went to a (clamp power show) and guess what tested craftsman vs there meters and guess what they were off again...so in my eyes they are no good.....and when you have 2 of the same clamps dont you think they should read close to each other not 10 amps off...... that alone shows me inaccurate products....not tring to get your fethers all messed up just helpful info take it for what it is..... | |

| yes midwest spl was the show....but the zx400.1 test was not at the show done it for my own eyes trying to get the % of inaccuracy on the craftsman so I could keep using it but that's to much crap to deal with when you only have 4% leeway on power for your class witch mine was 120watts....
and trust me after seeing the results on the zx400.1 @2ohm with the craftsman it don't take Einstein to figure that out
