| Looking at them, I think the magnet, basket, & top plate are the same as the Powerbase XS 15's I am in desperate need of recones for. Anyone have any feild rebuild kits for the RD's? Dual 1 or close prefered but at this point I'll take whatever I can get. Any1 know if RD sells recone kits? It is Sunday or I would just call them. LMAo Easter Sunday, & I am looking at subs | |

| yes they sell recones. do you have pics of your powerbass subs? the xs i have seen arent the same. but that doesnt really matter. as long as the gap of the powerbass is large enough for the 8 layer flatwind to fit in you will be golden. but yeah miller can do d1s, d.5s,q1s,d2s, anything you want basically. just call him up after ten georgia time. | |

| The subs are 45 minutes away from my house, I will prolly go there Mon or Tues to do some other work. Do you have a measurement on the width of the former & windings. I thought the XS was .030 (thirty thousands) or close. The ones I have are the OLD black XS's, not the newer poished/chrome ones, these are all black. | |

| yeah, the gap is fairly large, it is tough just looking at pics on the web ya know. I know it will hold the Atomic AP flat wounds with no problem. Thanks for the help! You know about what they charge for recone kits? | |

| Price will depend on what soft parts you go with. I dont remember off hand if the XS was a 2.5inch coil or a 3inch coil. In all honesty my sonance 10s side by side with my cousins XS 12s they look damn near identical. My cousin has both styles the old black basket and the new silver/chrome basket and they are not different at all. | |
