| Subject: New to USACi...trying to figure this org out. Sun Apr 05, 2009 10:49 pm | |
| Hello There.
I'm Chuck. I normally compete in DB Drag,but since it would appear that our finals are unified,I thought I would fing out more about this org.
I have only done 1 USACi event last season and was hazy about the rules (still am). So i thought I would ask a few questions that you guys could clear up for me.
1. Where can I find the USACi amp ratings? Or if one does not exist,what rating is used?
2. Can someone provide me ratings for these amps?
Crossfire
- vr1000d - vr2000d - vr4000d
Distinct Audio by Crossfire
- D1500MD
3, In Pro-Stock 0-600 is there a limit to the number of subs that can be used?
4. I have 2 vehicles to use: a) ''89 honda crx and b} '91 dodge caravan (family taxi). What would be ideal classes for these cars?
Thank you in advanced. D1500md

| crx=anything stock probly be better in the lower class 0-600/601-1800
0-600 pro has no sub limit/batt limit everything must be behind the b-piller, and under the verticle little wundow of the hatch
rules=http://www.soundoff.org/supportfiles/09splrules.pdf

| the amps are classed by the 4 ohm rating. so you want an amp that can go down to .25 ohms or lower lol. 0-600 you are allowed one amp and 2 batteries total. under 800 cubic inches. get a nice vehicle for that class and build for the kick | |

| A no wall van would be in mod. If you read the rules a van has to have a rear seat (2nd row)in it or it goes into mod. No cargo vans in stock. | |

2 18s 4-8 amps 16v all below the window line, no seats in the front Depends! If the guy with the no-wall van is formerly from Las Vegas, currently from Florida and a dB Drags director ... he'd be in the highest power class and nastiest division in USACi. How the hell are you Terry. How's your hammer hanging? Goood to see you still around. Planning to come to Tulsa? Yu haven't got a hair on your @ss if you don't. Really looking forward to seeing your ugly puss again.
