| its been close to the mid-west for 11 years and I have traveled no less then 14 hours to finals in KC since 1996....all im saying is every time people talk about moving finals its the mid-west that does all the whining(nobody in particular)...I know you do some traveling because you seem to be a good competitor....if I was from yall neck of the woods I would welcome the change and go and represent my area or my team wherever finals is held | |

| I want to cry, can I cry also? It doesnt matter where finals is or isnt.. I would bet ya that finals could be in Dallas, or Tulsa, or Shreveport or Kansas City or Atlanta and the difference in the turn out of competitors would not change very much..... However what is a determiniung factor above everything here is the Sponsorship and participation of local retailers that USACi has strived on for years.... They need a retailer to step up and promote the show in that market. and to step up and be a sponsor themselves, and hopefully they are big enough that they do a decent business with key manufactures to get them on board as well. Maybe things werent like this in the past but they are now... so with that being said. quit crying about bumpby roads, high gas prices,(which are about to go through the roof again) and start preparing to go to finals even if you only have a couple weeks notice. I think USACi will give us notice soon, is it as good as the date we had set in dallas? prolly not but at least we get to have a finals and a place to play, and I thank the guys at USCAi for that..... Now back to the real topic... I think USAC should not only charge for electric along with the entry fee, but how about charging an extra 40.00 dollars and let that include a trip to the concession stand each day? Maybe even work a deal and include hotel fees also, maybe even contact EXXON and work a deal and include fuel and offer the competitors vouchers along their way... thinak about it? one fee it would be kind of like consolidation... | |

the facility charges for electric. Not within our power to force them to give it free. We have tried to negotiate that before.

| USACI WILL NOT raise entry fees this year.
USACI WILL do our best to negotiate a better fee for electric and
USACI WILL pass any savings on to our members.

| The only way you can get free electricity is to do what "honda boy" has done and build a solar panel into your car... or wash dishes in the concession stand.... | |
