Shouldve given Dallas a chance one year I would'nt think was a real chance since it was last minute as hell but I'm sure this year will be the same

thats what you guys said last year when the rumors started flying, ralph came on here making his own post saying finals is in omaha etc etc, do not worry about anything, nothing is going on behind closed doors, etc etc, then 10 days later it's officially moved to omaha

Ralph - I'm sure you already know this all too well, but I would really like to stress how important it is to get these dates ironed out ASAP - getting vacation and finances figured out in advance is becoming more and more critical for folks in an economy like this.

Yes need to plan the vacation time, especially if its in Shreveport, lots of gambling to do

That is because prior to the last meeting in Omaha we had no reason to beleave anything would change. We cannot read minds or predict the future. When someone tells you something and makes a commitment you go forward assuming they will follow through. If they change their mind then you have to proceed accordingly. What we said at the time was true at the time.

We have been on the phones to Dallas for three weeks. Working on sponsors, shows, a pulse! There will be a little action in Dallas this year for USACI but we need someone who will get behind the finals. Seems there are no takers in Dallas and our Dallas director resigned. Dallas is still on the short list but USACI cannot afford to go to Dallas and have no support. HOUSTON or AUSTIN would rock but 1 is too far south and the other already has a GREAT USACI event at the Texas Heatwave.

As close as it is to home, please dont do Houston. The biggest cess pool in the nation doesnt deserve an event like this. Wayyyy too much crime for an event geared like to this to be there.

Yep and they are pretty sh*tty as well.

I-10 is a damn jig saw puzzle with those expansion joints. Not that you have to use I-10 to get there, but i doubt i-20 is any better.

Regardless I will be there woprk permiting, just want to go ahead and get my bitching in up front

I-20 is HORRID. If you ever need to break something loose in your bowls, THAT's the place to do it at.
