buddy of mine thinkin of getting two. any comments? suggestions? amps?

amps is going to be preference. but for two 9512's a good 5000rms would be best on those. there rated for 1500rms but they like 2500rms. but a pair of m3's would be perfect. one per sub or just strap em

a good deal is a perseption of the buyer , i have found most people dont want to pay as little as possible, the seller wants as much as possible , somewhere in the middle both are happy . hopefully you are buying from a store front with names to go with a face , then you are not only paying for product but also service.

well considering retail on those subs and amps are $4038. and map from a dealer is $3202. and there is no way your going to find a dealer that will sell for map. so depending on how old the equipment is thats a good deal

I wouldn't buy that for that amount.

That's like 1000 for each amp and 700 for each sub

I'd rather less expensive subs and amps

2 AQ 3500(same as M3) 1300 total

2 AQ 12 HDCa 600 total

BAM. Same results

i was not saying it was not a good deal , just saying perseption is that of the buyer/seller .

Wrong HDC's and 9500 are 2 totally different designs as well as M3 vs AQ3500. Either one is good stuff but not the same by no means.

No they are not the same, are they close, yes, are they very close yes, the DD is the benchmark that AQ follows. Cant go wrong either way. Both great companies, great service.

HDC and 9500s are TOTALLY different....the DD may have a couple more options.....but for 500 more bucks less....ill take my AQ

the costs i gave him are for new products. and those are the prices when bought new, if you were to pay full retail. i dont know many people that pay full retail. i dont sell much for full retail, but i dont go lower then map either

is each one of the AQs going to handle a 3500? how much power would he need to keep those amps goin fine. right now he has a 180 amp alt.

id probably at least use 3 batteries 1 under hood and 2 extra. make sure their good batts like powermaster or kinetik 2400

for a daily system would you think the hdc3 would be matched better with a 2200d? based on the ratings that the site is stating

Well if paying that much then yeah AQ but if you can get a good deal on DD why not buy it the first time. Thats all. Bruce explained it perfectly.
