| I'd go with copper myself, I know its more expensive now but that's me
I think aphinny or someone on here said the thickness didn't affect them. I guess depends on if ur gonna screw bolts into the bar, or use a bolt and a nut. | |

| it doesnt matter unless u are goin to put gobbs of power with them...but for "most" applications u will be fine with what u are stating...now there are forumulas that go by the power u are puttin into them to then decided how thick and wide...now im with him and go with copper cause alum u cant see the corrosion and copper is better conductor so...end of rant | |

| technically aluminum is a better conductor, but because it oxidizes so fast it sucks because it looses its' conductivity at the connection points. | |

| yes i have...but what is the point of goin that far IF you are serious bout this?? and make sure u but electrical goop or oxidation prevent between the bolt and buss bar cause there will be a reaction between the two metals...HENCE WHY U DONT WANNA GO WITH ALUMINIUM | |
