| Where does it fall on the DD line up? How does it compare to other woofers? The AQ S.D2.5 10" I saw was manly looking......
If I get them it would be 4 2.5 15"s..... or DD 2515"s...... | |

| What I was told, is the SDC2.5 falls between the 2500-3500 DD series. | |

| I thought the 2.5 was just under the 2500 since it has lower power handling and a little smaller magnet weight?? | |

| I would say its comparable to 2500 same coil size and whatnot. Pretty efficient subs if you ask me but I use the american sd2.5's | |

| The american coil and spider version sd2.5 is closer to a 2500 dd i believe but dd's motor still has the free flow cooling. This is the main reason they cost more. Also 2500's are offered in dual 2's if needed...I dont think the 2.5 is anything but dual 4's.Either way both are great subs.Would be interesting to test the overall real world power handling and loudness of both. | |

| The AQ 2.5 is not quite as strong as the DD 2500, so if you want to put in it the line up with the DD product it would be between the 1500 series and the 2500's. It is closer to the 2500 than the 1500's but just not quite as strong. Hope this helps | |

| The DD 2500 and the SD2.5 share the same size motor but the DD has better cooling and a stronger cone which allows it to handle roughly about 200 watts Rms more power for daily if you compare the specs of the two they are pretty much the same with those few differences plus a few others. The SD2.5 is a great speaker and can compete with any other brand speaker in its class by other manufacturers at a great price point. | |

| 2500 has 160 oz mag sd2.5c has 140 oz mag. I wish someone would test both head to head and see which is louder. Daily I would say the 2500 would have a edge but pure spl I dunno. | |

| more mag weight doesent always equal higher performance, they are nearly the same woofer, with some differences. If you ask DJ he says there so close you probably will se NO difference, but if you ask the quesiton as to where the SDC falls into the DD line up you will hear between the 2500-3500. | |

| Oh I know mag weight does not matter( I run 9515F's which are 320 oz mags....smaller than most other woofers in the same price range) | |
