| I've been told that your Jeep is one of the better models of a Jeep for hitting the numbers on a meter, of course a CRX wouldn't hurt either. | |

- Wow 31 trophies last year thats way more then me. and yes i lost 3 times last year but placed every event. Everyone loses at one time or another but youd be nuts to spend 5 grand on a system and say you just compete for fun. I do it to win and so does everyone else.
Some of them I got for car show's also.I got 2 at the last funk flex show. I would have to say that the last part of your quote sums up to the best of my knowledge in competing. Everyone compete to win and not to have fun only. I think that car show's is just an experience waiting to happen. It could be good, or bad. But you'll never know until you actauly compete. And these experiences make us who we are, and whether we choose to act and/or react favorably, or however we do act to one another not only reveals more of ourselves to them, but you also get to learn more about who you are as a competitor. We find friends, family...foes. We find we are all competing In some way...

Well JL didn't design their product for spl.. Their quality is better than some others that is why their price is more. I will be building a JL sq car soon. It will be sponsored by JL. We will see how it does. Most important thing is not what u got but how you built it.

Most important thing is not what u got but how you built it. I agree, JL does make some of the best SQ subs, for an SQ type set up, not for any kind of SPL competitions. It was worth mentioning mostly because USACi doesn't really have any SQ cars in the northeast, at least none that I've heard of on this forum. If you build the box right almost any sub can be used for a quality sound system, build it wrong and even a $1000 JL sub will sound like crap. Good luck with the JL car, I'd like to see and hear it at a comp sometime.

| Sucks! I just bought a CRX for this year but we just sold it on Sunday. Maybe next year I'll get a tiny car. yeah and just say no to JL. A couple guys from our team had them but where only hitting low 140's. Now those same guys are pulling 148 and 149 with the same boxes with memphis and cheap ass PowerBass lol. | |

u consider 5000watts a lot of power...he was in 601-1800... the fact that it's a bandpass box i think that's very good...

| With that amp and subs I would be really disapointed if I hit under a 152 He has a nice setup but I def think the box is holding him back. He would be twice as loud with a new box. | |

| How is that not an SPL setup? Most guys out there would kill for 3 w7's and a 5kw lol. I understand what you mean though im just messin. The 0-600 car was a $300 amp and the subs are $150 a piece in a prefab box. Maybe $750 total into truck. Less then the cost of one JL Audio W7. | |

That's very good for that setup...so how come you were running 2 15' mojo and a 4kw memphis amp and only doing a 150? I know some1 with the same setup in a toyota camry and doing a 155...

| The guys realized its pointless to spend THAT much money when you can get better results with way less money. And we dont do bandpass boxes because if everything isnt perfect you lose alot on your system. Ive found that simple usually works better and the uglier it looks the louder it is lol. | |
