Gas tank placement

Long story short i took my bed off and it's not going back on for a longggggg time. I need to figure out how to get the gas tank on truck and stable (can't afford a fuel cell right now) so give me some ideas as to what to do.

you will probably have to fab somethin up. you could make a new crossmember thats raised up and put it in its original place or you can mount it in the bed people do it all the time not real sure how most secure theres. suicidedoors has a raised crossmember for your truck. you coul also shave the gas door on the bed and fab up a small box and run a filler hose up into the bed. also does your drive shaft hit or rub? there are many ways to do it if your top link bars didnt go backwards you could mount it under the bed in the back. but if you chose to put it in the bed you could put it at the back until you get a fuel cell. you can also build a fuel cell but not sure if or how much cheaoer it would be you could probably even use your factory fuel pump.

Why you pulled it and not putting it back on?

Bed is not going back on. I'm lined up on a new on but money is tight right now
