| Why would you say it is stupid? This is where many consumers buy their products. Many people on this forum are installers and/ or have stores themselves. It's always good to know what your competitors have. Especially when you may be asked to install it. | |

| I wouldn't mind having one but don't see much use for it. Not to mention it'll probably block a couple of my heater vents | |

| Wal Mart experimented with installation in the NW Arkansas area a year or two ago. Rumnor was they planned to go with it but then someone decided it was more trouble than it was worth. Hope they do not change their minds. | |

i loved those for when me and my buddies would get board. i had 2 linear power 8002's back then and i would run down to walmart get some of the cheap road gear stuff just to take bets on how long it would hold up on the lp's. average time was about 1 to 2 mins unles i got it on the first burp. now i have 2 sony 12's from walmart and the sony 1000 wat amp in my truck and other than the amp overheating and shutting down it is not a bad setup. i am hitting 142 peak at 43 hz in a box i built probally 5 years ago just for a daily box. as for the overheating amp i took the amp apart and put 2 fans in the amp one pushing and one pulling and i haven't had anymore problems. i make jokes about my walmart system but it ain't bad. i got 1,000's tied up in a comp system but i love showing off what i can do with walmart crap. | |
