| Despite the terrible events surrounding this year’s Finals dates and location USACI is proud to announce that the 2008 World Finals was a successful event. Despite all the horrific setbacks we experienced people still came. The competitors had every right to be confused and/or upset about all the last minute changes and yet they came. New sponsors stepped up, took a leading role in making the event happen, and they came. The manufacturers and retailers that purchased booth space in support of USACi still came. And while we are deep within the strangle hold of a down turned economy, many competitors and friends still managed to make it out.
There are very few words that can express the gratitude for all the support USACI has received this year. Our members and supporting companies came out and made this what USACI will cherish as one of our most successful events. The show may not have been the largest, the spectator turnout may not have set a record, but the industry support and the competitor’s support made it the best finals we can remember! I only hope that USACI can continue to earn all the support we enjoy by having such a large and dedicated support base.
Please accept our sincere apologies for all that transpired so close to the event date this year. We sincerely want to say thank you for your support and apparent forgiveness. USACI is extremely lucky to have members and friends like those who helped us make this event happen. Your friendship and support we will not soon forget.
Again, thank you all and here’s hoping that we all see each other again next year. May all of you and your families enjoy the happiest of Thanksgivings and holiday seasons.
