absolute cheapeast way to 150 in a ext. Ranger

Lookin for the cheapest way to a 150db ... don't care about the back of the cab, never use it, but don't wanna spend time to build a wall ... more comp. than daily, don't wanna dynamat, etc. Any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated.

I had a friend use L5 15s Dual 2 on a Power Acoustik AB3000D at .5 with stock battery and alternator do a 150 he had about 700 in his setup

was thinking bout l5's you can get them cheap online ... but my alternator is only 95 amp ... so i don't think it will be much up to the task ... but i think i will try it with the stockers, if not, it is not that big of a deal to replace an alternator. I was thinking about Power ACoustik Mofo 15's .. i can get them REALLY cheap from a dealer here who is selling the rest of his P.A. stock cheap, but ive heard they aren't all there cracked up to be, but thats just heresay ...

my s-10 project was a drag truck ... sorry i didnt make that clear in the other post .. my ranger is a daily driver ... and one in which i would like a daily driven spl system

Wouldn't it be louder to use a panda in the bed instead of a rex? Those little bears get louder than those big dinosaurs. (pandabear t-rex) lol

the guys at the shop that built my 135.3 3 10" l7 box said that a newer civic with the speakers in the trunk facing the back is the loudest vehicle. although a bunch of LOUD systems are in a crx

You should have been near or over 135dB w/ 1 of those 10's in 1.5cuft tuned to ~35hz.

If you still have to L7's, use them. You can get over 150 in that truck w/ them. You just need power and a box.

Kartunez in Liberal, Kansas built the box, had them running @ 1 ohm to a Hifonics Brutus 1600 .... only did a 135 ... sold them 3 days after the contest ....

I did 149.3 with 3 soundstream SPL 15's off a rubi 1002 500 watts.
with a 35 amp alt. and a Neverstart battery from wally world in my 85 Bronco II. $ cheap 12"s and 1000-1500 RMS should get you there easy.

got 4 l5 10's and anamp rated at 2880 at 2 ohms that'll getcha there

i am doing over a 150 with on two l5's in a trunk car..you should be louder than that. with my old brutus amp. 2000 watt
