| I have Been Curious about how you run subs 2 an amp at .5 ohms. Can anyone explain this 2 me? | |

| kind of complicated at first... i would recommend finding a wiring calculator... rockfordfosgate.com has one... im sure there are better ones out there though... it depends on the ohm load of your speakers and whether they are dual or single voice coil... | |

| and make sure your amps are going to handle it.. and at .5 ohms becareful not to be street beatin to much for to long ...depending on the amps they will blow.. im good at doing that | |

| I wanted to use 2 Alpine 12'' type R dvc 4 ohm, i guess just for street beatin i should just run them at a 1 ohm load ? | |

| That's the lowest you would be able to wire them if they are dual 4 ohms. If you got 2 dual 2 ohm subs you could get to .5 ohms. | |

| i know that the kicker book showed me the first time i hooked mine up or even a local stereo shop..i could draw u a picture if you would like not good at typing the stuff we need to tell ya | |

.5 ohm daily would be rough on your amplfier creates alot alot alot of heat. and could cause it to blow......not so much the woofers unless they cant take the power | |

| aight, well i'll get 2 dvc 2 ohm subs and still run them on the mono amp at 2 ohms. after i hook that up i want to see my db rating is, it will probably be like 140 or something. funny remark AMC. | |
