| I am running two memphis M3 12's on a 1100d. In a 4.36 cu ft. box with 4 inch ports. The ports was cut at 4 x 9.5 and i was hitting 139.7 and 140. I just decided to cut the ports down to 4 x 6.5. I was wondering what kind of difference could I expect from doing this. The box was tuned at 35 hz and now it is at 40 hz. | |

| Sometimes, you can't use the manufacturer specs. Do you have a meter? | |

| There' no real way to predict that. You may go down. You just have to test but post your results, I'm interested. | |

| your box is tuned that low because of to much airspace shrink the box and watch the freaquency rise
4 ports is also to much port in m opinion unless your running it sealed then its even iffy.
ports should be around 11-12" long bell to bell

| How many 4in ports do you have?
And like Nice said, I woulda tried shrinking the box also
I had my 2 12s in 3.5 total tuned to 35hz, right at 150 and now they are in 1.5cu a piece and do fine on daily music
