WTF? you are in the WRONG sport then.......WE ALL build for numbers, if it meters loud then your good theres no sense in Building for streetbeat or outlaw and not shooting to do a number.....if ya compete man it WHAT the meter reads that counts not how many peoples ears you can hurt......


my car crx is a one note wonder setup BUT.....i can play music on it 59 and change on a burp with half power if i turned it up on a SB run itd be in the 157 range for sure ON REAL MUSIC other wise i could do roughly a 158-59 as it sits with So loud it hurts cause my score didnt fall off too much last year....but i suck at SB so i gave up there FOR NOW......................

my sb2 and sbjl sb3 scores, 156's for me and him. real music. dont forget about billy in sb1. 152.9 on 1-10 for 30secs.

I dont see any need to "just build for number" when ill only need to burp it 7-8 times outta the year....seems like a waste

90% of the year ill be riding around listening to normal music


Maybe if i had a dedicated car to just burp.....but i cant see my putting that much into a car that wont get much use

skip i agree with you that its not really stree beating cuz we all know what that is low lows and groundpound but that is not what this class is so stop being so literal and do the class and build to win not to be caught up in pride. If you are just building to groundpound then dont waist your time competing. Dont get me wrong I love ground pounding but I am not going to sit here and let you bash the builds that win. I suppose that just because its a test tone and it only burps its not a tru system either. Do u c race cars on the road or do the buildem to win ya it says impala but the one you c on the road doesnt go as fast so it doesnt race!!!! this is just my 2 cents dont mean any disrespect but cmon its a sport to see who is loudest not whos louder at what freq.

Not to open up a whole can of worms here but wasn't SB originally set up so average joe could compete? or something to that effect? I have a daily system too. I can't afford to buy a car and just rape the interior to make a competitive vehicle. I take my personal truck to the lanes and I enjoy being there and competing. I accept the fact that there are amps and subs and builds that will destroy my numbers but I still love to do it.

i daily drive both the rex, and my truck( not so much anymore). the truck was drove to finals and home. i took third in it. i daily beat my systems as well. i also know what it takes to compete at the top level. you just have to build for what you want to do with it.

street beat has always been on many differant levels IMHO cause you have the average drug dealer who does run around with 20k watts 6 15's in a wall or huge ass box, and does listen to it as loud as he can bumping around town, and then you have an average legitimate hard working joe that does the same thing trying to show that he can hang with that other guy.

the type of music you listen to is strictly up to you, and you guys do have to remember Im 36 years old and DJ Majik mike came out when I was a kid man ill garauntee you when he came out with bass bowl it was for someone to use in street beat to obtain an advantage

Nice score SBJL. What subs and amps?? I was doing 154.7 sb3 with a autotek 4000 and 2 9515's no wall in my f150.

4 12 solox's and 4 2500.1. no wall in the s10 either.
