It was a busy weekend, there were four different car shows between RI, MA and NH and two SPL shows all on Saturday. So the competitors were drawn pretty thin between all the shows.

Dan Holden from the old Pirate Radio told me he was assisting Mark. Everything seems to be good so far. They dug up my parking lot last week to replace a water pipe and don't know when they are coming out to repave it....... Doesn't effect anything except a little dust on the show cars that day.......LOL glad I don't have a nice car......

Any idea what the car show categories are for this show? and what are the places, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ect?

Classic (1988 and earlier)

More focused on the SPL..... Car show is for bigger attendance

I hear ya on that part, but with just that for classes I'm surprised you get anyone to come out for the car show portion. I wouldn't even bother announcing it as a car show too, just keep it as SPL.

If TCs were to do it again, it should be the Northeast regional and a triple pointer since it was many more cars (spl wise) then that Brooklyn fiasco.

if you and the other ct boys went and showed support it would have been an even better showing.
but i think two things scared you either the $50 it cost to compete (you must be in a financial funk) or comming to brooklyn (you scared to be around folks who know who you are and you dont know there faces)

agreed... they are too scare to leave CT and the funny thing is that they always lose in their own home town...
