WHAT IS THE DEAL ON THE DD M3?

I GOT A NEW GUY WANTING TO KNOW IF HE CAN RUN THIS AMP OR NOT. I TOLD HIM WELL THYE BEEN TESTING IT FOR 4 MONTHS NOW AND THEY CANT SEEM TO FIGURE IT ALL OUT.

COME ON DID IT PASS OR NOT THATS THE ONOLY REAL ? HERE AND IF IT DID SWEET LETS RUN THEM, AND IF THEY DIDNT THEN RERATE THE DAMM THING ALREADY.

I've been wondering that for months myself. I mean, results from the test were posted and it was over the 600 @ 4ohms, yet there's still some confusion. I thought that it was pretty cut and dry. I know the 20/30% thing is the deciding factor. So....what's the deal??

its easy you take the watts they got at 4 ohms do the 30% rule and rate the damm thing man simple math here fella's

I called about three weeks ago and it's good to go until further notice. I would be carefull with it if you are planning to run it at finals, might not be legal by then.

thats the problem if they cant come up with something by the cut off date for new amps and or protests I think it was aug then it should be legal for this year no matter what this bs of dragging your feet until then is not fair to ppl just like the rule about a company having a amp out by the cut off date or its not legit for finals that year I have been keeping my eyes open on compays web sites looking for new stuff and have not seen that much pop up and the cut off is just around the corner...

The amp we sent for testign was not tested at the proper voltage. We asked the amps owner permission to send it of to the new lab for proper testing and he declined. I have cotnacted DD twice and not received a returned call.

As soon as we can get our hands on this amp it will be tested.

so the new rating by dd to 700 something doesn't take it out of 0-600 anyways?

If thye rate it at 700 watts that would override our rating...

this may be where the issue lies 4500 watts at what ohm load im thinking

now most of us know its at .25 and 14v, but it doesnt read like that

there was a screenshot of the manual in another thread that said 700+ can't remember the exact figure.

That would be ummmmmmm the rating Manufacturer rating on an official manual would make it the higher of the two ratings so Usaci would have to go with the 770 Hmmmmmmmmmm

Can we get an answer on this quickly please. We have a show this weekend and I know some people in our area run these amps. I need to know what class to put them in. From that I see it being out for 0-600

I spoke with DD today. We will be re testing the amp before the week is out.

ralph I think thats the best course man I have no idea how companies rate there amps, and I think you getting with them to have it benched properl as well as correctly is the ebst course of action here.

are we back tot he 30% rule now or are we still going with the new 20%?????????
