| Do any of you feel like explaining criteria for each class?
I've read over the rules. There's one section entitled Outlaw SPL Rules, but it doesn't really explain stuff. From the meager couple of shows or so I've attended, I gather the following:
Legal--meter 12" in, 4" up on the windshield. But is there any amp classification, windows up, down, don't matter? Speaker, alt limitations?
Outlaw--meter in the kick--right? Any other terms must be met to run outlaw?
Port Wars--meter with the globe on, right outside of the port. Any other terms? What's port wars open? Is there a port wars closed? I know, sounds silly, just wondering why they put (open) behind it.
Super Port Wars--meter with or without globe affixed, anywhere in the vehicle or inside of the box....what else?
I've been wondering these things, and I'm sure if I PM one person he'll be able to answer me, but the forum seems dead, or almost there. It seemed a good time to go ahead and ask these questions.
Help a brotha out and enlighten me........

| Open just means theres no classes......everyone into same class, doesnt matter if its 18 12s or 2 15s
I think Legal is like that also for usaci. and its on dash all sealed up nothin open or rolled down
Super port wars is no globe in the port or what have you
I think Outlaw is anywhere in front the B Pillar if im not mistaken, idk......could be wrong

| no other terms on port wars.. the mic can be anywhere aslong as its still got the globe on it.. and port wars open means its an open class with no power limitations..
nothing else to super port mic without globe and can put it ANYWHERE you want to in the car..
legal im not sure if there are classes but i know that the car has to be sealed up meanin doors closed windows up and not sure if car can be on or not
i think outlaw is what every stock class mod class and sb class is

| Legal can be done in any class (I believe), it's just a certain way of measuring. | |

| Only for record runs. At any show when you are in the lanes you can chose to put the mic on the windshield 12" over 4" up or with the globe on anywhere in front of the B pillar. | |

Hey Matt. Thanks for the compliment, but I'm running Kickers...what did you expect. lol. Nothing much going on over here...just trying to figure out ways to earn more points, since I can't make many of the shows due to my work schedule.

| "Legal" is evidently just something that some directors offer but is not really a USACi class or division. Evidently, since there are no written rules pertaining to "Legal" or "World Record," I just suppose the director gets to do as she/he pleases. Frankly, I don't even know whether points are actually accrued in "Legal" either.
Maybe the directors that do offer it can answer this for all our sakes.

Although I don't know what I'm doing, that's the goal--build my truck to run in a few classes. Slowly getting there. Kinda hard to do with a low-paying job and two house notes. lol Workin on it. Thanks again for the advice fellas.
