decided to go with
4 new mt15 -different ohms-on 4 db drive2000.1 amplifier. each amp gets .05 ohm. result is 161. db
is this normal or should i have gotten more out of it? i was expecting atleast 2 db more.

| batt draw as well on 2 amps you were probly conservative onn the batts now you added 2 more batts, and lowered impedance as well | |

| Don't forget about the possibility of the subs being maxed out. Adding more power may not pick up. You would have to change the box design to handle the extra power. | |

| theoretically you gain 3 db doubling power, but in most real world applications its around 1.5-2db. the fact that your running mts in a caravan, you shouldve seen atleast a 2.5-3db gain. figure out you imp. rise and pm me and ill see if i can help you out. | |

What if you have no impedance rise? A lil off topic, but I have 2 18s dual 1.5 ohm coils that read 1.4 ohms each. I ran one sub in my trunk for a while and seen about 1.7 ohms of rise. Now I rebuilt and built my first wall (around 11 cubed after bracing, port, and sub displacement). I thought I would have a lot of rise, but when all my coils are wired in parallel for both subs my ohm load flexuates around .2 to .3 ohms. Wheres my rise at, did I build my wall bad? It just kinda baffled me. Lol

| Its not a box, its a wall But for real, none what so ever. I thought I would of been having a lot. I was even scared to use the 10gauge stinger wire Josh hooked me up with just because of any sort of rise. | |

| imped rise is not with everything off. rise is figured after you turn it on full burp what the subs actually read in the specific box. You will just about always have rise. I won't say always cause there is no always lol.
take acv/aca=rise | |

take acv/aca=rise that is final imp. You have to minus that from initial imp to get your rise.
