Has anyone ever seen or done a competition system in a Volvo 240?
I am going to use the following component:
Nakamichi MB-100
DLS A5 Amp
MTX 9500
XTANT 6.5 front speakers
Morel 8" woofers
Audio Control DQX
I need advice on the placement of front speakers; door, kick, or A-pillar?

you are just gonna have to play around with placement. Those Volvo's can be a pita to work on. they are built pretty solid though. Try the kicks at different axis and see what that yields you.

What year? Careful on the newer ones. There isn't much you can do on upgrades.
