| Subject: Using PXE-H650 and PXA-H701 together?? Mon Apr 21, 2008 12:24 am | |
| Anyone know of someone or maybe try it yourself, using the PXE-H650 first for the auto tuning capabilities, then feeding those outputs to the PXA-H701 for 31 band manual eq capability? How did it work, advantages/disadvantages? Thanks. | |

| I thought about tryin it but decided it wasn't worth it. I think it would be over processed. The auto tune on the H-701 doesn't work well IMO. So I don't really trust it on the 650 either. Let us know if you hear of anyone successfully combining the two. | |

| I may end up giving it a try. The auto tune on the 650 is much different than the 701. I've heard really good things about it. I wish they would have given the ability to do 31 bands of manual eq after the auto tune in the 650 though, then I wouldn't need both pieces. If JBL would hurry up and get the MS-8 out, problem solved... | |

| you have heard or have been told?
i have never heard a piece do a great job but then again most people are happy with stock so.
only listen to one h650. (nameless person) talked it up and up then sat me in it and told me how great it sounded. i did not agree.
it is time for an updated processor that is a combination of all technologies out now. 701 is still our mainstay | |

| I personally wouldn't try daisy-chaining processors together. Your potential for noise is probably going to go through the roof and you can also expect other strange and unusual things to happen. Every time I've seen it done, the outcome has never been what is expected.... | |

| I've hands-on seen 701s daisy chained...you've got some noise issues to fight sometimes but you may go through a coupl different 701s finding one that isn't noisy. It's kind of like a modern day EPX2. | |
