| has anyone ever seen one put out 14.9-15.3 volts idling? | |

| If your batt. is really dead, it will go that high for a few minutes untill it's full charged. After that it drops back to normal. | |

| i have seen alot of chevys do that. here are the ones i have seen do it. 2001 2500hd chevy, 2001 1500hd chevy, 2005 1500 chevy, and my 2006 1500. everyone of them have done anywhere from about 15v all the way up to 17v. the 2001 2500hd after the guy put in a yellow top i had seen it charge all the way up to 18v | |

| haha i dont either... but im happy as of right now i can turn everything on in my car and and turn the cd player up all the way and my voltage never drops below 14.6 | |

| If your voltage is over 14.7 you can not run in Stock or SB1-4 classes even thought its stock from the factory the rules state voltage no higher then 14.7 for those classes and that is idle voltage not once you have a load on it, it doesnt go past 14.7 | |

| yep happened in my firebird and then bam one day it was only doing 10-11 and i was three hours from home... i made it back but it had dropped to a bit about 9... im glad it was able to keep me goin... | |

| i called usaci and they told me it was legal.. and after running for a little while it drops to 12.4 until i crank my car back up and it goes back up to like 14.6 or 14.7.. | |
