| ^^^^^^^^ he red so your saying if you have the seats that let down u should have those up or down? cause i have subs up port back now and about 1700 watts to each subs now and not even doing over 135 with 2 10's, now with 2 12's i was doing over 141 with 1200watts with sub and port back, startin to think its the subs and not the box.

| What subs and what amps? I know it is possible to go 150+ with less then 2500 WRMS of clamped power. In a trunk vehicle. We tried multiple subs, but in the long run the tired and true design with just 2 12's prevailed | |

| i am running 2 10's with 2 hifonics 2006 and the loudest i got with subs up and port back is like 138, now with 2 12's mtx 7500 series in a 4cubic ft box tuned to about 40 with 1200 watts i was doing 138 once and loudest i got with them was like 141 with a box tuned to about 50 to 56. and with the same 12's and 2000 watts i was doing 140 142 easy with the box just more watts. the new subs are some hx2's power serries 10's at 2 ohms with one amp on each sub and doing 138 don't sound right to me. the new box is 4cuft tuned to 56 then sfuff one port tuned to 42 both hit really hard but don't put up any good numbers as i had hoped. | |

| That's the box I was playing with before I did a nice daily box. We got close to 150, but never quite made it when we were playing. I've heard Jeff's box design does well. | |

| supa i think some of the problem might be that your box is taking up to much room in the trunk not allowing the air to travel into the cab... getting stuck in the trunk... does your trunk rattle like he!!... if so then that is probly your problem... i had that same problem in a couple of cars... | |

| I never liked subs up port back in a trunk car, I had best results either subs forward port forward, or sub forward, port side with aeros | |
