| what would be better 6 CVX 12 or 6 L5 12s for a friend I dont run kicker so dont know a whole lot about the products. kicker 2500 for amp. Just a street beat setup. | |

| Raw bass, go with the L5s if he is looking for better over all sound with still a lot of bass. the CVX. |

| Mostly rap Its going to be a bed cut if that makes any difference. would a 2500 be enough for 6 L5 or would 4 sound better since they would have more power going to them? | |

| If it was me I would do the 6 CVXs but thats me, If you went with the L5s yes I would do the 4, These woofers tend to sound better on high power. |

| I would do 4 either way. Four L5s on a 2500 is a normal street beat setup that we have done, but the CVXs have the L7s motor and more power handling than the L5s. | |

| Eric, I totally agree with you. The only reason I said the 6CVX- I have found them to be a little more eff than either of the L models. So in the right enclosure I think a 2500 would power the 6 CVXs fine. As well as sound very good. |

| sounds like a good setup man but remeber u can have all the power in the world and best subs on the market and crappy a s s box and not put up any good numbers the box is the key ingrediant in the mix happy building | |

| got that right the right box is the key power just adds a couple on the meter a new box and port tuning can be as much as 4 to 5db gain in some cars after finding what the car likes | |
