| I have an Alpine IVA-D-300 for sale it will do 5.1 with the H-701. Asking $700.00
7 inch flip out touch screen DVD. I just got it back from Alpine a month or two ago with a tune up and updates to the software. | |

| 2008 kenwood excelon if you don't need alot of fine adjustments
they play dvd-audio and are 5.1 all in one
fold out or ddin
alpine doesn't do dvd-a(mixes down) except for f-1 | |

| YEA wish alpine would quit dropping the ball.
they need a double din with dvd-a and the h701 built together as an external box you can mount next to your amps.
would also be nice to have a 3-way front output and 7.1 capability so two rears.

| A 5.1 system that plays dvd's don't need that much tuning. Most of the time that format has codes with crossover frequencies inbedded in the discs.
But sometimes it's better to manipulate the sound a little bit,U really don't need to. | |

| The car environment is somewhat different that a house system. The pathlenghts are unequal. For instance if U sit in the driver seat, the pass. driver are further away that the ones right next to U. That's why proccesors are necc. for adjustments. | |
