45's in corners of boxes

guys do these help in spl boxes? and if they do why and what does it do? also anyone seen an mdf flare port? what are they good for?

45 work and help the waves, keeps them out of the dead corners.

Mdf flair ports work the same as pvc flair's. Gives the wave a smooth roll out from the box.

I am sure someone will post a more technical explanation later.LOL

Angles don't always help. It's kind of a test and tune thing.

45s hurt my score spent all day doin it then hit .6 lower had to cut it all out and get the 90s back smooth

i always found that pvc pipe cut into 1/4s help more then 45s but its alot more work gettin them rounded corner smooth
