New to Street Beat

I am pretty new to the car audio scene but have recently bought a 2000 Tahoe with tons of room in the back so i decided to put some good audio in it.

I am pretty interested in starting out into Street Beat and competing in the other divisions. At the moment i think i have the stuff to begin in the Stock 0 - 600 division.

here is what i am running:
2 x Memphis Audio 12" (MS124D)
1 x 1100 watt MCD1000

Any ideas on how this setup will turn out for me with a little work?
I bought a decibel meter but it only peaked at 128 db(i know i am louder than this) and i am not really sure how to go about working out alot of the kinks on my own.
Are there any good sites for newbs like me to get info beyond these forums ?

well first read the stickys man theirs alot to learn also check other sites and read. The more u read the better find some good ppl in your area and learn from them dont be scared to ask for help theirs alot of good ppl around and they will help just ask.
