| I am in the market for a new digital camera. The one that I currently have is a Kodak CD33, 3.1 mega pixels, the screen is small, the batteries die quickly. I bought it like 3 years ago at Walmart. I don't think I need one with really high mega pixels, since I usually don't print any of the pictures. Not looking to spend more than $450. Let me know what you suggest and why??? | |

| This is a good topic for me anyway. I need something that is compact for travel reasons, but also has optical stablization (wife shakes a lot). I looked on that site steve ... didn't really see one in the compact range with that though. Only digital stablization. | |

| I've been very satisfied with my Sony Cybershot DSC-N1. My parents bought it for me a few years back when they went to Japan. Its screen is the whole back of the camera, its touchscreen, and 8.1MP. It takes great pictures and fits in my jeans pocket when I'm not using it. I'm not one to like carrying a case and all of that so its slim design is really nice. I think you'll be happy with Sony's cam's for sure. | |

| I have to go with alot of the other guys, Sony Cybershot is the BEST camera I have ever had. I have had mine for 2 years, loved it so much I bought everyone in my family one for christmas last year, but lets not talk about the line I stood in Thanksgiving night to get the great deal on all of em.
WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! |
