Lincoln Nebraska Sunday 2 Neons whats louder? New/Old

slumpinhonda I thought I'd start a new forum just to let everyone know about the good battle. 2 Neons head to head No rules. 2 weeks ago I got a 152.4 in the kick and was rather excited and decided to challenge the great tim to a soundoff. I gave him 2 weeks with a new gen neon (Ihave an old gen) Let me know if I've bitten off more than Ican chew? 1 week later at a local show tim did get it up to a 147 something don't know what he's running. I'll have to admit just a lil scared. come down to lincoln and watch as we throw down.

You better watch yourself, you might just get your Arse handed to you by a girl. One that has achieved 152db+ in a civic coupe on a regular basis with a old stock 301-900 setup

2 12's 2 kx1200's 1 battery =153.1 when I play with it

And tim was one of the few to watch my whoops mistake at NWA and did 148.0 at 42hz, played wrong track, long story blew everything up. should have been a 54+ capable setup

And forbid I give our car to Mr Richard Turner, he might just come out swinging with a 55 or more with a couple 8 inchers

Done the duct tape and it does work. LOL

i didnt know neon's made you louder, but now that i think of it, bob is a lot louder in his explorer ever since he won those neons last week

The only reason I ran 3000+ was because we allready have guys in the rest of the stock classes. It's was for fun not for serious. Trust me there no reason to go serious into 3000+ unless you plan on crackin a 160.0+ we were just having fun.

Allthough You should be scared about finals because I do run super port and I hit nothing but 180+ in my real box and for all you out there who think super port is weak because you throw the mic in the box I would LOVE to see a 180.0+ come out of your box. Or here you can show me if you make it to finals. LOL I just do my best to have fun and a good time. You should try it its great when you can laugh about the # you hit.

all i could get out of 1 amp today was 157.8

yea im gunna say those new neon are stingy only gained 4 tenths switchin amps and some warm woofers....also 1 volt less than flatline....I will say BOB was hatin on me he didnt get down in the dash like your car for sure........yea it was Fun I tried more efficient woofers same score its like i ran face first into a brick wall.

flat line.....buddy...there is a box design that will max the meter out every time...and port wars isnt even a class...so

i really dont see any fun in port wars either

i knew jeff was gonna be jumping on here about his 153 in the kick out of the trunk. do 154s on the dash and then brag. mike steirs still has THE LOUDEST TRUNK CAR!! mid 90s dodge neon with 2-12s and 2 d2s off of 1 12v batt with the car off! you guys are doing great numbers, im just tired of hearing jeff talking up the almighty honda trunk like its god.

yeah i told flatline to build his box like mike steirs, but i guess he didnt have enough time, i dunno how it would work for outlaw though, or if his 2 sony amps would be as loud as whatever mike had

yep i think its a really decent score something to be proud of.

i did get my civic to 150 last year single batt legal dk what outlaw was never tried, the neon i did was a 2005, flatlines was a older one prolly mid 90's

Allright phinney you were right there is a box out there but if you remember me you will know that i now have that box. I do appretiate the post and I had problems at first but has been fixed (platte city3x/omaha3x why me? you know. as far as the loudest trunk car out there maybe not but i'm willing to give anyone a run for there money ask slumpin honda he knows. thanks for the case of moster LOOOOOOOOOOOOOser LOL I'll make sure you get the first cold one after all you did buy them for me.LOL

ill have my new box in maybe by the next swat show if im not to lazy im hoping for a 52 53 legal on dash but who knows some time this year for sure well get that trunk half asz loud just hate workin on the kids car ....lol

slump does your neon sound good when music is played in it. i mean can you really enjoy all music. mine is a daily and i can for the most part play even techno which is hard for a spl setup.
