| Did all the state records get reset at the begining of the season or what. I had top three in 7 different classes now nothing. Just curious | |

| I think they should stay set until they are broken otherwise it seems like what you accomplished during the year doesn't count. | |

| I agree with Team Kracker.
I like Kasey's suggestion to, if your a member, it stays until beaten, if it is set by a non-member then it gets reset at the end of the season.

| The USACI software is programmed to use the current years database. Resetting each year allows new blood to have a "claim to fame" every season. this is good for USACI and keeps new competitors coming in.
Outlaw records and B&K are permanent but state is year to year by design.

| Possibly, but Ralph's point is understandable.gives us a little something to shoot for each year......and hold on to it. | |

Outlaw records and B&K are permanent but state is year to year by design. how about a way to look at past records like we can for finals dont delete past years but still start new every year

| Keeping them or resetting them, both have valid reasons to do so.
I'm on either side of the fence here.

| How do you get the State record do you have to say you are running for it or if you just happen to do it you get it and when would you know you did it? I was in SC and did street 2 class as they call it in their org beat the State Record by 3. something and they told me I did it but since I didnt tell them I was going for it I dont get to claim it. Thought this was weird!!! Is this how we do it here also? | |

| In WI we just keep up to date on who did what in what class. It is also available on the Usaci home site. We give out a plaque every year with your score, class, and the year of the state record onit. | |

| but when you are running do you have to say to the judge hay this is a state record attempt even thow its your regular run also. I say If you get in the lane and beat the state record you should get it. | |

| all you have to be in a usaci member and doesnt even matter where you score is. meaning you can be out of your state and still set you own state record. i know i did 3rd and i was in texas and i live in louisana. so you dont have to ask no one. i hope this what you wanted to here | |

| Regardless of the state a competitor is from, the record will be set in the state it was recorded. Potentially, a competitor could drive around all season racking up records in every state. | |

| well im not positive on that one zach but i know for sure that i went to texas to place 3rd in the state of louisiana i dont think you can do both because your not from there, a resident can set his own state record anywhere. so now i like to here usaci opinion on this one | |
