On a note aside from Quad, did you get to hear your subs yet? I am amazed by mine. Wish the car was here right now, I want to go listen some more.

I have only heard them in a prefab box at the shop. Goofy greek sent me 10s instead of 12s. My truck and the wifes car are both built for 12s. I haven't been able to convince her to let me throw a new box in her car yet. I spoke with Lambros lastnight about the situation and he may send me some 12s.

You gotta love a manu who you can get on the phone and work things out with.

For the record Quad, I'm not a competitor looking for hand outs. I do the research of new product lines for our shop to carry. All new vendors who approach me or that I approach are given the same offer. Let us try it. If it works like you say it does, we will buy and sell it. We are not about to get into deal contracts and buy ins without knowing what we are getting into. I'm sorry you don't seem to have a clue on how the market works and how flooded it is with fly by night companies.

He has called me like eight times since the subs got dropped off to see how I am liking them. Now that is support! Not only can he ship a product, but he follows up on it.

Just make a baffle for 10's and drop them in your 12" box. What size and type of enclosure are you and your wife running? These things are nuts at 1.25 cu ft ea and tuned to 32hz. I'd be willing to bet they pick up a little more at 1.5 ft cu

The wifes Celica enclosure is about 1.5 each. The enclosure in my truck is also about 1.5 but I have 4 holes to fill in the truck!

I will probably build a baffle for the Celica. It may look a little funny though. Her enclosure has a fiberglass cap that the subs sit in. She's not convinced that downsizing subs is what she wants to do.
