Alright now this is the deal,
I have 2 Tru Technology Hammer H-1 amps & 1 Tru Technology 2.100 amp for sale. ALL AMPS ARE GUNMETAL METAL NOT COPPER OR DISCOLORED IN ANYWAY!

THIS IS THE PROBLEM ALL 3 amps have blown power supplies, Ive contacted john Yi of tru Technology and these will cost approx 210$ to reapair each at the factory, Ive been quoted around 175$ locally from an amp repair shop.

These are high quality amplifiers, I have absolutely NO need for them anymore as I now have picked up a sponsorship with Digtial Designs!(Kinetik Audio, Excessive Amperage Alts and Air Zenith & DD AUDIO) Racking them up for the start of the new show season I cant wait!

I am letting these amps go incredibly cheap as I dont want them anymore and I would like room in my apartment for new incoming equipment before instalaltion in my truck. Plus im not going to use these anytime soon, so give them a good home! and give them some usage also!

2000 watts rms x 1 @ .5 ohm (I ran daily 3 H-1s at .7 ohm NO PROBLEMS UNTIL comp burps everything was turned up and i had a voltage spike that popped the power supplies cuz the circuit breakers didnt catch and pop first)

heres my the problem in my setup
My 3 Tru Tehnology H-1's, Only one is working right now, the other 2 are powered on, But are not putting out ANY SIGNAL at all, the protection lights are not lighted up either, AND when I plug the RCAS from the working amplifier into the other two amplifiers NEITHER OF THEM WORK, so the RCAS are not the problem, and also i jump the remote wire from the workin amplifier onto the other amps that are NOt working and they dont work also.

So the RCAS, Remote Wire, and Speakers are not faulty it is for sure the amplifiers?

Or is there something else i can try??

And also Since I bought these Amplifiers with the truck if I send them into tru tech to get fixed they shouldnt cost much to fix, BUT the company GAVE these amps to Onyx Mobile Audio who then installed these amps and 9 15's into the truck for the original owner, THEN Onyx mobile Audio went BANKRUPT and shutdown, Then the last owner sold the truck to me 2 months ago, the 2 amps were working fine when i bought the truck, but one day just went out, and i was not even puching them hard neither.

Just seems weird, But its true, i dont wanna say that tru Technology would keep the amps if i sent them in to get fixed BUT they did give them up for free to Onyx WITh the intent of them being used on the DEMO TRUCK.

Could Tru Technology take the amps back if is ent them in to get fixed?
Also what could I do in the event that they do keep them? (I have no receipts as they were given to Onyx for intentional usage in the Demo Truck)


Any recommendations for testing my amps? AND ALSO what about True Technology can they keep my amps? and do you think they would keep them??

Ive talked to John Yi a good while back and had 1 amp fixed before in fact its the working amplifier that was sold with the Blazerhe fixed it for me at around 200$ plus shipping and it worked no problems at all, I just didnt fix these 2 other amps because i was at a stand still on my old truck on what i was going to do with it. To sell it all or to rebuild the sub wall and fix the amps and re run everything power wise. so i wouldnt have these circuit breaker problems again.

So i sold the truck with 1 2.200 and 1 Tru hammer H1 no problems. Both were in perfect working order and cosmetic also.
Hence the remaing 3 Tru Tech amps, 2 H-1s and 1 2.100, they have been in a storage bin sicne they blew at the bottom of my closet wrapped in a bunch of clothese to keep them from getting scratched.

Call John Yi and ask him about the truck weve talked before while back im sure he remembers and he has no problems fixing the amps for another customer so long as they intend using them.

I posted that on here BEFORE I had the 1st amp replaced (fan problem at first and then blew power supply also, my fault it blew)and they didnt take the amps back he fixed it and sent it back no questions asked and he knew exactly what the amps were in and all, and that i didnt " buy" them but obtained them through other means.

So the amps can be repaired by Tru Tech for a higher cost than local repair shops BUT it will be done right and that piece of mind is what some people want, may not trust small repair shops.

I had multiple problems with that Blazer msotly the wiring that was causing things to go wrong, I am glad i sold it to someone whos redoing EVERYTHING and building it better and stronger the way it shouldve been, but Onyx dropped the ball and cut costs on the build of the truck.

I was scared they would take the amps back sicne i didnt purchase them i obtained them through a partial sponsorship, and i was asking for opinions on what i should do get them fixed there or go somewhere else, and i got 1 fixed from them and no problems, and john Yi is a great guy anyways.

If your skeptical you can call him and ask about the black blazer they had 5 tru tech amps in, and tell him about the amps, he will if anything hook you up on fixing them cheaper.

Good company with great service and good products, i had no problems with them like i thought i might before i approached them about fixin the amps.
