thanks Don't listen to all these other idiots that don't go to finals. Here are a few things you should do before you go to your competition. Read the rules, and read them a few times. When you get the the show have the judge verify your vehicle to determine what class you are in. You will have to make the decision if you want to do Street Beat or SPL. The rules will help guide you in your decision. Ask the judge at the show what he recommends. On the Official Usaci SPL cd, track 19 is a bass drop that starts at the highest requency and drops to the lowest. Play that track at a lower volume if you want to find a rough idea of where your frequency of your system is at.

| I am not an idiot Kev. Very well said btw. I knew my freq before going to any show tho. Guess that helps out also so your not wasting battery power to play a bass drop/sweep before a full on burp. | |

| Kev gave some good advice. Everyone should start with the rules. Some people might be surprised how many 'veteran' local competitors have never read through the rules once, let alone 33 or more times. You've got to know the rules before you do something, at least to get an idea of what is going on before you jump in.
Don't worry about your power or product right now. There are always ways to get louder down the road, lets concentrate on getting you to a show first and then possibly look at adjustments and upgrades from there.
So, as others asked, how is your setup configured, where are you etc?

| Best advice i can give you is go out to a show get your feet wet check out what the other guys are doing using for equipment, maybe talk to someone who looks like they may be willing to give you a hand with some advice and build from there, if you find someone that dont wanna share anything dont let it bother ya there are a few people like that out there most are willing to lend a hand, and Dont be scared to ask for help on here most of us on here are willing to help!
Good luck! | |
