| But those cars entered as a total of over 70 entries in SQ. We as an SQ crowd barely lost 'entries' from last year. SPL lost 2/3 of what showed last year from what I saw. Foot traffic appeared good. Fun show. Clean town. | |

| It was a good show. I missed first by 5 points in Consumer Advanced and missed first in Q by 3 points. Not too shabby for that to be the first show the car was actually judged. LOL...I left some goodies "on the table" shall we say...didn't intend to either...just forgot about it or ran out of time. I'm very happy with how my car did. Big thanks to Todd Crowder and TC Audio for an awesome install; Team Hybrids, Scott Buwalda, and Hybrid Audio Technologies for some great sounding front stage gear; Performance Audio-Tyler TX for the Zapco gear; and of course...my posse helping me show the car.
Note to others...Consumer Advanced was possibly the toughest class out there...the guys placing 1-5 were "bringing it". Seriously. | |

| I think alot of people did a great job on the showmanship. i know some people think that it is a hassle standing by your car but talking to and showing the spectators is the funnest part becuase they are truly impressed with the cars. so they are eager to find out more. making it a blast to show off the whole car. | |

| standing by the car isn't a hassle at all, what's a hassle is when you MUST do it because points depend on it...so you're scared to leave to go eat, go pee, or go do anything. | |

| Alright Jan, I'm bringing you a coffee can, a game boy and a box of granola bars to finals next year.... Believe me, everyone did a really good job of being a showman this year and I was very happy how it turned out. I didn't get to see any pimps in the lanes (dammit) but my secret shopper(s) picked 3 of the 4 guys from Crush on 2 different lists. I went through the lanes later on Sat and again on Sun and tried to make a decision on just one of them but couldn't. They were all working as a team by watching each other's cars when one had to step away so in a twist that I hadn't anticipated, I decided to award the trophy to the team since from my standpoint, they all worked to get the award, whether they realized it or not. The same thing may happen next year, it may not, I dunno how that's going to pan out until we get there. | |

| By the way...you said you are brining granola bars...I'm holding you to it. I didn't eat anything hardly on the floor. Too expensive. Fiber wouldve been great! LOL | |

| You DO NOT need fiber. If anything, you need MORE Imodium!! (or a cork or some strategically placed kitty hair) | |
