| Ok. I have heard that you have 14.5 inch to stay below the window line in a CRX. I have mesured mine several times and can only get 14. The window Line starts at the window correct not at the end of the dark tint?. Because I get 14.75 if I start there but if i mesure from there the actully window line is if you remove the palstic internal panel and start at the bootom of the window I only get a little over 14 in's. I'm just checking because i do not want my box to be to tall. | |

| sisco's box was over 14.5 last year when he ran the 9917s and matts box was i think over 14.5 because he had the amps under the box with the 4 12s | |

My first gen does not have a "cubby spot. Which is why I have 1/3rd less space to work with. Lucky you.

| How about the lowest point on the A pillar? Is it that U can build the box starting right behind the seats or slightly back where the carpet ends? As far as the window line is concerned the best way I think to measure that is with a metal bar straight across from window to window. | |

| Is it allowed to put a piece of board on the bottom of the box to make it leveled? Cause the gas tank is right there,I'm afraid the vibration can cause some mechanical malfunctions. | |

| Everything must be under the lowest point of the small rear window in CRX's. This is how we were judged at finals last year and how it will be judged this year. | |

I have 9917's and a rex and there's NO WAY to make them fit. 9917's have an 18" basket. I worked for a whole day with levels and strings, etc. to see if I could do it, DIDN'T HAPPEN. I'm gonna make 1 more attempt at it here over the holidays with an external laser level measuring from the mentioned black paint line and see what I get. At this point I'm selling the rex and the subs. I'll see what sells first and go from there.

Wanted to leave plenty of room for error.

| My box had 2.5'' thick amps under it, 1/2'' board covering them then was about 14.5 tall on top of that and it had a little breathing room. If you use the cubby right I think it can fit. | |
