Joint Finals a success. USACI numbers down due to very remote (from USACI) location but better than expected. Results posted on web site.

First topic message reminder :

As many of you know we are working on bringing USACI Finals back to the midwest. In order to justify that move and to garner competitor support for the finals we are implementing an agressive midwest campaign.

1: we have to have all midwest shows booked at least 45 days out, no exceptions. That guarantees we have sufficient time to properly promote the events and ensure there are no conflicts with other events. We intend to make sure 100% if there is a conflict we ARE NOT the reason for it.
2: Show fees will be 50% or less than normal show rates AT EVERY IN 2013 EVENT.
3: Any event promoted well enough with dealer support that has a minimum of 30 cars will be refunded 100% of the show fee!
4: Any show that has a minimum of 50 cars will result in a payment (Cash Back) to the hosting retailer (yes, we pay you to host the show!)
5: Any show that is 3X or larger that has at lease 60 cars will have PRIZE MONEY for first place in every class with 5 or more entries! (yes, that would include the REGIONAL EVENT!)

Long story short you could end up with a FREE EVENT, CASH BACK, and PRIZE MONEY if you hand out fliers and help promote!

Entry fee for these events will be standardized $25 single. $35 double, and $50 Triple Points.

Get booking right away because the first 10 shows to book get 2X for 50% off the 1X price... Seriously 1/2 of single points fee for 2X points. and Every competitor at the first 10 shows booked get a FREE 1 YEAR MEMBERSHIP courtesy of the hosting retailer! That a $35 value FREE!

This applies to all events in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska.
We are serious about getting things in place to bring finals home to the Midwest and we are willing to operate in the RED ALL YEAR LONG at every single event in order to earn your support and prove our dedication to promoting your business and this industry!

Drop me an e-mail at usacms@aol. be sure to act fast as the first ten get the REALLY SWEET DEALS!

Thank you for your support,
The USACI Event Crew!

The only problem with other orgs like this. You will never be a world champion! It takes a world wide org like usaci to do that.

Ppl asking for those discounts in texas is redicualus and stupid... He or we are trying too get midwest involved again that is why he is doing the discounts ... Come on guys surely you can understand Ralphs dealings here he is trying too bring them back... Texas is fine well except they wont drive too a real finals only the championships ... But thats a whole other story seems we are getting the rep of being the winny asses of usaci and want want want..And after seeing two texans say we need the discount too....lol tisk tisk that sure is niggerishhhhh... Just sayin...

Its not for us its too bring back some of the other masses and really if he brings them back alot of you texas boys will get beat as thats where the root of the talent is or once was in usaci so work on getting loud and enjoy all the shows our great state does offer

Can't believe I'm not seeing any Wisconsin competitors postin up?! We hosted 2 shows in 2012 and I am trying to decide how many we will host in 2013.

How was your attendance from your 2012 shows? I wish I could go to more but gas prices and other stuff have kind of kept me away from traveling pulling my van. 2013 I got a car with good gas mileage so hoping to go to as many as I did a few years ago. Only time will tell though.

Sorry bro but I have to disagree. Texas has lost its support due to some bad judgement calls. We need to win back our following and get current with the times. I know of one great promoter in the state of Texas. She has worked her ass off but she cant do it alone. The heatwaves were some of the biggest and baddest show, now they are Dung Pile. DFW is in a fukn mess as are the heatwaves. Houston is the only area that is helping any cause for USACI, and its because someone will not stand for bad judgement calls. Yes I'll put my neck out cause Im the only one with balls to say it. Now what? I know ill get the bad looks at the shows and everyone will cast me out, but again. ill stick my neck out cause no one else will. South Texas shows suck ass too. Only like 6 entrys at most South Texas events. And yes I am a paid member till March, unless someone kicks me out after this post.

Now MEL, chill out homie. Nobody is gonna outcast ya or make ya not a member for voiceing your fkn opinion bro anyway nothing wrong with what ya said.. I simply was saying his reasoning on this post. And you havent been around much homie so with that said. Any time here as of last three years that something or someone gets a discount or whatever ppl (KIDS ) from areas you mentioned get on here and whine that they need or deserve it too. Or god forbid Finals moves 20 hrs away and the whiners come out again ... Meaning the kids again their too but take it how the fk ya like....

Anyway , that is what i meant about we have been dubed the whiner state bye the show me state compeditors and really i agree with them all. And being 1 of the only 3 from Texas that actually went too finals if ya ask me TEXAS doesn't deserve any SPECIAL TREATMENT..... We showed our true asssess this year bro. And Texas in the last three years has lost all its respect in USACI honestly ...

Now back too what you are argueing HELL YES YOUR RIGHT AND IT NEEDS TOO CHANGE!!!! But discounts aint what TEXAS needs .. Janissa is doing well, very well wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than i would have ever thought she would i doubted it and helped push her too prove she could and i love her and fact she does well... But until someone goes broke as a director like MARK did before he passed stingy assss Texas will never grow to huge shows again.....PERIOD

Now you may give me dirty looks now and thats fine and i got balls home slice i just stuffed my balls away some and tried too grow up in my old age but dont get me wrong i can still be the dickhead of a fkn lifetime but just have no desire too be that guy bro so smile and lets give our opinions cause you and i both know it wont change anything by giving our opinions on here ...

100% correct. Let it be discounts, cash or any fukn thing, but it needs to change cause its not right. I have nothing against you or what you say, you would not be the one with the dirty looks anyway. Houston area is the only area that is moving. Forget finals for now, lets think back at all the Heatwaves. How many people were there? Not many. Its sad when i went out to any of these events and only saw a few car running. why? lack of interest, leadership, greed, bordem or all of these..WTF is going on? Its not like these event don't draw out cars. Not just competitors, vendors, spectators, magazines but everyone at one point has been run off for one of the past things. God knows I love this sport, all the pain, heartache, cancer, divorce, lost money and too many other things have help me run it course, but for the love of GOD, open your eyes and see what I see before our game and industry's time runs out.

Texas is doing very well in part because it is our point of origin, in part because we have always had good representation there, and mostly because of the really great support from the competitors there. Great competitors being the key.

Dallas and San Antonio are slow but we are working on that. We have some of the best USACI competitors there in Texas. Dallas is hard because of a promoter there who does free shows every week and has no affiliation and no loyalty to anyone but himself. As for attacking you, I don't see that happening. Your posts have been of this same negative nature for so many years no one notices any more. It is pretty much expected. As for Jenissa, she is a member of the USACI team. What she does reflects on USACI either positive or negative not just on
Jenissa. You and others try to set her apart because of ulterior motives. I know about this because Jenissa is loyal to USACI and she tells me all about it. Best of luck there.

You want to know what is wrong with USACI in Texas, look in the mirror and ask yourself what you have done to make it better. Then ask if you have done anything to make it worse. Then answer yourself and you will have the solution.

USACI IS OUR MEMBERS. We are only as good or positive as those who support us. Your comments, your words, your remarks are what people see and how people determine our value. People read all the negative and see all the complaining and they choose to go elsewhere. Why because of USACI or because all they read and see is bad bad bad. You tell me, are you helping or hurting? Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?

And positive support! This is great. I usually dread coming on here for all the negative. Thanks you for making today not one of those days!

O spoke to a person in San Antonio about doing 3 singles and then Jenissa doing a Triple. We are working it out!

Dallas however appears to be broken. We had a show in Ennis, 6th annual, and less than 10 cars. How do you support an area that will not drive 30 miles to a show!?!?

Ideas?

Wish it was like it was back in my day. We went to all the Thunder on Wheels shows. They had great turn outs in Tx.

Seems like the big brands put alot of emphasis on the shows. We used to sell a lot of product leading up to the shows.

Back then everyone with a punch 45 and 2-10's was ready to win. Im not really up on USACI but i feel like there would be no reason for me to go to a show. I have 2 RE MT 18's 2 Sundown 3500's 2 Alts 5 batteries Alpine nav HU all Focal and Alpine front end and a really clean install that does a 151 sealed on the dash in a 07 Avalanche and feel like i wouldn't have a chance in hell.

Not sure how it is now cause i haven't been to a show since the 80's but if there is a good way to draw in the new guys that dont really have Dung Pile thats what i would go for as a promotor.

The first time i went to a contest i was 16 had the punch 45 and 2-10's and loved it so much i looked up at all the bad ass vehicles and started installing at a store. And before i new it i had 12 15's in a walk through toyata truck with 2 rockford 650's. Went on to open my own shop and only made it a few years due to being young and not understanding money.

But anyway i love the sport i looked here in tx and only seen a few shows coming up mainly in Houston

sorry for getting all nostalgic but just wanted to offer and old mans perspective figure out how to get the newbies to come and eventually the will put together some nice stuff and their friends will be jealous and have to do better

maybe the keep it simple stupid KISS method would be a good way to go

Also some corporate sponsor $$$ like rockford and Kicker used to through around would help too
i know free t-shirts used to draw alot of people and wet t shirt contest never hurt

Again just and old mans 2 cents not sure if any of you remember but my roommate back then went pretty far in the shows i think he even held a world record in spl at one time his name is Greg Record he had several cars back then named Shock Wave yeah we used to name our cars mine was Aftershock we are from the big town of Abilene TX.

Last weekend we were in Tyler, TX at Turkey Drag and had almost 70 competitors, it was a great show. The next show is at Moody Gardens in Galveston January 26 & 27, 2013 for the Texas Championships.

I am updating the website (www.bassbattles.com) with shows as I can, we have shows all over not just Houston area.

We had 21 at San Antonio BTW. Not huge but a nice turnout for that area! Looking for more shows in 2013 in the SA area. I know we have at least 4 already!

Just added 4 shows in MO and 3 Show in Kansas. Just getting started. Finals will be very close this year and USACI, IASCA, dBDRA, and MECA are ALL tentatively confirmed to share the venue! USACI is also looking at holding Bass Race events in conjunction with our Midwest shows. Other directors may follow. Stay Tuned!
