Joint Finals a success. USACI numbers down due to very remote (from USACI) location but better than expected. Results posted on web site.

it says 2 diff things alan so they take the highest published rating which is 2300 man! only reason website dont say it now is because a ton of meca competitors called and bitched about it because it kicked them out of their classes so they took it off but was too late already went out as rated power they would need to send 1 in to get it tested to get it requalified! ask meca competitors man my buddy brian stice had to sell his m1c and buy a m1b because the rating on it is not published so it goes off what teh book says which is like 1200 for his amp

Unless it is protested we take the highest manufacturer rating at any ohm and extrapolate the 4 ohm rating to get the finals results.

Spoke to DD today. At 14.4 they rated it at 2400 watts 1 ohm but...

Per the company it actually produces 810 watts @ 4 ohm RMS - 14.4volts.

810 would be the USACI Rating...

Thank you goes out to DD for being up front and helping avoid controversy. Good show!

That is per the manufacturer directly about 3 minutes ago VIA telephone...

Why should companies under rate or make a specific rating for their amplifiers just to cater to Usaci. It should be the other way around Usaci should cater to the manufacturers. I know its crazy right, its almost as if they dont care if their amps are rated to be "usaci friendly" or not. Shocked
