| Finally got some time with a termlab today and lets just say it wasnt what I expected. I did a 141.9db sealed on dash, but that number didnt change by opening windows or doors. Peaked at 46hz. Only thing that stumps me is my old box did a 143.*, and it was tuned differently, and it peaked at 46hz too. If I do a spl box should I tune around the 46hz? Also ill be upgrading my amp to a rd 3250 instead of my rd1750 which im hoping will help my score. | |

| Try the mic in the floor as far into the kick as possible. do it on both sides. you in the truck and out. doors open. one door open. doors closed. windows open. one open etc. be surprised how much you gain when you get the right combination. | |

| Box volume and port size and length as well as vehicle all factor into where it will wanna peak at. Just tuning a port doesnt do it most of the time. | |

| My full size hated 49hz and loved 41hz, but your running an extended cab, but even then i have a friend with a wall in his and he peaks in the low 40's. Most people i know that compete in our body style full size chevy/gmc peak in the 40's. | |
